Your Soul !

This morning i was going through my mail then i stumbled on this and decided to share it with you all out there!
Once upon a time there was a rich King who had four wives. He loved the 4th wife the most and adorned her with rich robes and treated her to the finest of delicacies. He gave her nothing but the best. He also loved the 3rd wife very much and was always showing her off to neighboring kingdoms. However, he feared that one day she would leave him for another. He also loved his 2nd wife. She was his confidant and was always kind, considerate and patient with him. Whenever the King faced a problem, he could confide in her, and she would help him get through the difficult times.

The King's 1st wife was a very loyal partner and had made great contributions in maintaining his wealth and kingdom. However, he did not love the first wife. Although she loved him deeply, he hardly took notice of her! One day, the King fell ill and he knew his time was short. He thought of his luxurious life and wondered, 'I now have four wives with me, but when I die, I'll be all alone.'

Thus, he asked the 4th wife, 'I have loved you the most, endowed you with the finest clothing and showered great care over you. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?' 'No way!', replied the 4th wife, and she walked away without another word.. Her answer cut like a sharp knife right into his heart.

The sad King then asked the 3rd wife, 'I have loved you all my life. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?' 'No!', replied the 3rd wife. 'Life is too good! When you die, I'm going to remarry!' His heart sank and turned cold.

He then asked the 2nd wife, 'I have always turned to you for help and you've always been there for me. When I die, will you follow me and keep me company?' 'I'm sorry, I can't help you out this time! replied the 2nd wife. 'At the very most, I can only walk with you to your grave.' Her answer struck him like a bolt of lightning, and the King was devastated.

Then a voice called out: 'I'll go with you. I'll follow you no matter where you go.' The King looked up, and there was his first wife. She was very skinny as she suffered from malnutrition and neglect. Greatly grieved, the King said, 'I should have taken much better care of you when I had the chance!' In truth, we all have the 4 wives in our lives: Our 4th wife is our body. No matter how much time and effort we lavish in making it look good, it will leave us when we die. Our 3rdwife is our possessions, status and wealth. When we die, it will all go to others. Our 2nd wife is our family and friends. No matter how much they have been there for us, the furthest they can stay by us is up to the grave. And our 1st wife is our Soul, often neglected in pursuit of wealth, power and pleasures of the world.

However, our Soul is the only thing that will follow us wherever we go. Cultivate, strengthen and cherish it now, for it is the only part of us that will follow us to the throne of God and continue with us throughout Eternity.

Thought for the day: Remember, when the world pushes you to your knees, you're in the perfect position to pray.
U can share this with someone else!
Be Happy!

CHAMPIONS! - AC MILAN

I dint get the opportunity to say congratulations on this site yesterday to AC Milan because i was busy but am doing it now!

CONGRATULATIONSSSSSSSSS! AC MILAN !!!!!!!!

I would say they deserved it! They have really remained focused from the beginning. They edged out Bayern and Man U to get to the final while Liverpool won PSV and Chelsea to get to the final. Every player in the AC team was ready to work, there was team spirit, and they played well. That is not to say that Liverpool was not good, infact they dominated most part of the first half but failed to take their chances.

It will forever be a momorable moment to all the AC players and their fans. Kudos to Carlo Ancelotti what a successful man he is. He has now won the Champions League twice as a player and twice as a coach.

Players like Pirlo and Seedorf are invincible, they not noticeable on the field of play but you definitely feel the impact of their touches on the ball, they just cross the ball from one side of the field to the other side and it definitely reaches the player it is sent to no matter how wide or far it is, you see the Ball float on the air and drops down in the exact or right place and you are like wow! who was that? you find out its either pirlo or seedorf, then for a while you don't notice them again and then they lay another dangerous pass again and you like wow! again. They are not there but they are there.

Kaka is always Kaka, he is never tired always running here and there, then the scorer of the goals Inzaghi, he is a player who is very good with scoring with his head but this time around he did it differently, something else i noticed about him again is also that he is never offside, i don't know how he does it but he is always onside.

Nesta a great defender, Maldini old but not old, Ambrosini, Kaladze, everyone of them that played 2 days ago were fantastic. They really defended well, Dida was no exemption, never smiles, shakes his head when he makes any important save and always alert!

How can i forget the General himself Genarro Gattuso, I don't know but aside Kaka, he is one player i love most in AC Milan, he is average height, strong and u can see the seriousness on his face while playing, he complains when he is fouled, he is not too patient, but a Great player you can't take that away from him but i like him yes i do, i like watchin him play, i like his reaction, even though sometimes they are wrong but i just like his style of play, he is a rigid player.

Well, what more can i say than to say they are CHAMPIONS! and they deserved it. 2 years ago it was Liverpool's time, now its AC Milan's time, thats football, you never can tell whats going to happen, kudos to liverpool too because am sure nobody expected them in the finals but they got there. Being in the finals of The UEFA Champions League 2 times in 3 years is not easy, winining 1 and losing 1 is not a bad result either, so i say well-done to Liverpool! and every other team who qualified for the Champions League. We hope that we experience another exciting Champions League next year and we sure will celebrate with the winner on this blog then too by the Grace of God.

Once again Congratulations Champions! Congratulations AC Milan!!!

Well, to all of you out there do have a wonderful weekend! and remember...

BE HAPPY!!!!

Champions League Final !

VS

I am a football person, I might not know too much but I love the game and I've been following some of the championships for a while now.

Lets talk about todays Champions League Final between AC Milan and Liverpool, two (2) great teams who are suddenly becoming rivals, they met in the Champions League Final in the 2004/2005 season where Liverpool triumphed. They are meeting again today and there is talks and noise over who will be coming out tops this time around.

While Liverpool is trying to prove that they have beaten Milan once and can do it again, Milan is out for revenge the two (2) sides has great players who can turn the game aroud at any time like the tactical midfielder Gerrard, also known as Mr Liverpool and lanky Crouch who has a height advantage for Liverpool, while we have interesting and kakarious Kaka like my younger ones would say and the one and only Gattuso who has a special way of coordinating the defence.

Its sure going to be a very interesting match especially for me because my twin younger ones are supporting opposite teams and there is going to be a lot of shouting tonite. God help me to device a means to console whichever one whose team lose because its not going to be an easy thing really.

Let me say little things about the 2 teams playing today:

AC Milan

Associazione Calcio Milan or AC Milan known as Milan or AC nicknamed "Rossonerri" is an Italian Football club who have won The UEFA Champions League six (6) times, they have also won the Intercontinental Cup three (3) times, the Serie A seventeen (17) times and the Coppa Italia five (5) times. They are a traditional italian side with most of their players being Italians. Their Head Coach Carlo Ancelotti once played for the side and won the champions league then referred to as (champions club cup) twice in 1989 and 1990. Their stadium is named the San Siro which they share with fellow clubside Intermilan. They have great players to their credit and some of those who might be featuring for them tonight includes:

Dida

Andrea Pirlo

Paolo Maldini

Kaka

Clarence Seedorf

Cafu

Massimo Ambrosini

Kaladze

Gennaro Gattuso

Alessandro Nesta

Filipo Inzaghi

Serginho

Ricardo Oliveira

Alberto Gilardino etc.

Liverpool F. C.

Liverpool Footbal Club known as Liverpool, nicknamed "The Reds" is an English Football Club. They play in the Premiership and are the most successful English Football club. They have won the English League Tilte Eighteen whole times, they have won the Champions league five times and some other competions within England. Their Caoch Rafael Benitez joined them in June 2004 and since then has made a big impact with the club. Their stadium is named Anfield and they've also got great players such as:

Steven Gerrard

Peter Crouch

Craig Bellamy

Xabi Alonso

Luis Garcia

Dirk Kuyt

Riise

Jermaine Pennant

Sissoko

Carragher

Hyypia

Daniel Agger

Steve Finnan etc.

By this time tomorrow we would have known who the Winners for this year is but before then make sure you enjoy every bit of the game cuz am sure its going to be thrilling. Have fun as u watch the match tonite and special Congratulations to the Winners from this blog.

Go Liverpool !! Go AC Milan!!

Be Happy!!!

Isn't it Strange

Its been long i posted anything here cuz i ve been so busy, pls. pardon me.
How has it been with all of u out there and hope u all are preparing for the Hand-over coming up next week tuesday. We all pray that things go well that day and i would also want us to abstain from any form of violence or brutal act on that day!
A good friend of mine sent this and i decided 2 share it with u all.
IT IS STRANGE, ISN'T IT.... Isn't it strange how a 20 dollar bill seems like such a large amount when you donate it to church, but such a small amount when you go shopping?

Isn't it strange how 2 hours seem so long when you're at church, and how short they seem when you're watching a good movie?

Isn't it strange that you can't find a word to say when you're praying but... you have no trouble thinking what to talk about with a friend?

Isn't it strange how difficult and boring it is to read one chapter of the Bible but how easy it is to read 100 pages of a popular novel or ZANE GREY book?

Isn't it strange how everyone wants front-row-tickets to concerts or games but they do whatever is possible to sit at the last row in Church?

Isn't it strange how we need to know about an event for Church 2-3 weeks before the day so we can include it in our agenda, but we can adjust it for other events in the last minute?

Isn't it strange how difficult it is to learn a fact about God to share it with others;but how easy it is to learn, understand, extend and repeat gossip?

Isn't it strange how we believe everything that magazines and newspapers say but..we question the words in the Bible?

Isn't it strange how everyone wants a place in heaven but... they don't want to believe in Jesus Christ to get there?

Isn't it strange how we send jokes in e-mails and they are forwarded right away but when we are going to send messages about God, we think about it twice before we share it with others?

IT'S STRANGE ISN'T IT? So you owe yourselves a duty to share this message with your friends, families, neighbours, colleagues, others etc.

If you choose not to share His message you may deprive yourself from being blessed as well as depriving others...who may need God in their life.
Be Happy!!!

Especially Mine! SHE'S THE BEST!!!
(I LOVE U SO MUCH MUM)
My Mother

Who fed me from her gentle breast,
And hushed me in her arms to rest,
And on my cheek sweet kisses prest?
My Mother.

When pain and sickness made me cry,
Who gazed upon my heavy eye,
And wept, for fear that I should die?
My Mother.

Who dressed my doll in clothes so gay,
And fondly taught me how to play,
And minded all I had to say?
My Mother.

Who ran to help me when I fell,
And would some pretty story tell,
Or kiss the place to make it well?
My Mother.

And can I ever cease to be
Affectionate and kind to thee,
Who was so very kind to me?
My Mother.

Mother o’ Mine

If I were hanged on the highest hill,
Mother o’ mine, O mother o’ mine
I know whose love would follow me still,
Mother o’ mine, O mother o’ mine!

If I were drowned in the deepest sea,
Mother o’ mine, O mother o’ mine
I know whose tears would come down to me,
Mother o’ mine, O mother o’ mine!

If I were damned of body and soul,
Mother o’ mine, O mother o’ mine
I know whose prayers would make me whole,
Mother o’ mine, 0 mother o’ mine!

MOTHER'S ARE THE SWEETEST.

Our mother is the sweetest and
Most delicate of all.S
he knows more of paradise
Than angels can recall.

She's not only beautiful
But passionately young,
Playful as a kid, yet wise
As one who has lived long.

Her love is like the rush of life,
A bubbling, laughing spring
That runs through all like liquid light
And makes the mountains sing.

And makes the meadows turn to flower
And trees to choicest fruit.
She is at once the field and bower
In which our hearts take root.

She is at once the sea and shore,
Our freedom and our past.
With her we launch our daring ships
Yet keep the things that last.

A WONDERFUL MOTHER

GOD made a wonderful mother,
A mother who never grows old;
He made her smile of the sunshine,
And He molded her heart of pure gold;
In her eyes He placed bright shining stars,
In her cheeks, fair roses you see;
God made a wonderful mother,
And He gave that dear mother to me.

Show Love Always!

Good Morning All,

A friend of mine sent me this mail this morning and i decided to share it with you. Always try to show love because you never can tell whom your next ladder up would be.

"He almost didn't see the old lady, stranded on the side of the road, but even in the dim light of day, he could see she needed help. So he pulled up in front of her Mercedes and got out.

His Pontiac was still sputtering when he approached her. Even with the smile on his face, she was worried. No one had stopped to help for the last hour or so. Was he going to hurt her? He didn't look safe; he looked poor and hungry.

He could see that she was frightened, standing out there in the cold. He knew how she felt. It was that chill which only fear can put in you.

He said, "I'm here to help you, ma'am. Why don't you wait in the car where it's warm? By the way, my name is Bryan Anderson ."

Well, all she had was a flat tire, but for an old lady, that was bad enough. Bryan crawled under the car looking for a place to put the jack, skinning his knuckles a time or two. Soon he was able to change the tire. But he had to get dirty and his hands hurt.As he was tightening up the lug nuts, she rolled down the window and began to talk to him. She told him that she was from St. Louis and was only just passing through. She couldn't thank him enough for coming to her aid.

Bryan just smiled as he closed her trunk. The lady asked how much she owed him. Any amount would have been all right with her. She already imagined all the awful things that could have happenedhad he not stopped. Bryan never thought twice about being paid.

This wasnot a job to him. This was helping someone in need, and God knows there were plenty, who had given him a hand in the past. He had lived his whole lifethat way, and it never occurred to him to act any other way.

He told her that if she really wanted to pay him back, the next time she saw someone who needed help, she could give that person the assistance they needed, and Bryan added, "And think of me."

He waited until she started her car and drove off. It had been a cold and depressing day, but he felt good as he headed for home, disappearing into the twilight.A few miles down the road the lady saw a small cafe. She went in to grab a bite to eat, and take the chill off before she made the last leg of her trip home. It was a dingy looking restaurant. Outside were two old gas pumps. The whole scene was unfamiliar to her. The Waitress came over and brought a clean towel to wipe her wet hair. She had a sweet smile, one that even being on her feet for the whole day couldn't erase. The lady noticed the waitress was nearly eight months pregnant, but she never let the strain and aches change her attitude. The old lady wondered how someone who had so little could be so giving to a stranger. Then she remembered Bryan .

After the lady finished her meal, she paid with a hundred dollar bill. The waitress quickly went to get change for her hundred dollar bill, but the old lady had slipped right out the door. She was gone by the time the waitress came back. The waitress wondered where the lady could be. Then she noticed something written on the napkin.

There were tears in her eyes when she read what the lady wrote: "You don't owe me anything. I have been there too. Somebody once helped me out, theway I'm helping you. If you really want to pay me back, here is what you do: Do not let this chain of love end with you." Under the napkin were four more $100 bills.Well, there were tables to clear, sugar bowls to fill, and people to serve, but the waitress made it through another day.

That night when she got home from work and climbed into bed, she was thinking about the money and what the lady had written. How could the lady have known how much she and her husband needed it? With the baby due next month, it was going to be hard....
She knew how worried her husband was, and as he lay sleeping next to her, she gave him a soft kiss and whispered soft and low, "Everything's going to be all right. I love you, Bryan Anderson".

Young Girls

I promised we were going to talk about young girls and why they are jumpy when they get to the teenage age but it was delayed due to the Easter celebration and then the Election but by the grace of God we will start now.
From research i found that at teenage level which is between the ages of 13 - 19 years, a young girl experiences growth and developments in almost everything about her. she is changed Physically, mentally, spiritually, morally, behaviour etc. She suddenly begins to realise that she is growing into a woman and is cautious of what she does.
She begins to feel she now has the right to make decisions for herself, by herself. She is upset when her parents ask questions on her whereabout, she wants to be independent atleast to a certain level. She wants to frequent parties alone without her guardian, she wants to go to the pool, beach, etc. alone, she wants to be able to interact with other young girls like her or should i say young women and also the opposite sex.
She begins to notice the opposite sex. She feels beautiful, and when admired by the opposite sex she smiles sheepishly! she is conscious of her body, her size, her dressing, her talking, her everything because she is beginning to understand and know herself.
Here the problem comes in! some parents start giving curfews and laying embagos in the house, but we all know that if a lot of pressure is mounted they can become naughty. There is always a way of making up excuses in order to leave the house, so please parents and guardians we have to be careful in how we handle our young women/teens at this stage. you have to help us/them understand that you love us and that whatever you do is because you care so much and can't afford to see us get hurt.
Young women are supposed to be encouraged to concentrate on their education or whichever career she has chosen. They are supposed to be thought how to manage their career and social lives. The parents/guardians should be able to discuss intimate things such as dating, sex, diseases, pregnancies, career, etc. with them at this stage inorder to help walk the right path.
In some part of Africa, Teenage pregnancy is high because of lack of information. Some young women get carried away and fall victim of teen-pregnancy. Some have to leave school and resort to taking care of their baby, some are sent away from home and taking to far away villages because their parents/guardians are disappointed.
Thank God these days awareness programmes, seminars and conferences are organised to enable young people have detailed information on all there is to know while growing. Growing process of a Young woman is not really easy but most of them over come the temptations and become great in life.
