Young Girls

I promised we were going to talk about young girls and why they are jumpy when they get to the teenage age but it was delayed due to the Easter celebration and then the Election but by the grace of God we will start now.
From research i found that at teenage level which is between the ages of 13 - 19 years, a young girl experiences growth and developments in almost everything about her. she is changed Physically, mentally, spiritually, morally, behaviour etc. She suddenly begins to realise that she is growing into a woman and is cautious of what she does.
She begins to feel she now has the right to make decisions for herself, by herself. She is upset when her parents ask questions on her whereabout, she wants to be independent atleast to a certain level. She wants to frequent parties alone without her guardian, she wants to go to the pool, beach, etc. alone, she wants to be able to interact with other young girls like her or should i say young women and also the opposite sex.
She begins to notice the opposite sex. She feels beautiful, and when admired by the opposite sex she smiles sheepishly! she is conscious of her body, her size, her dressing, her talking, her everything because she is beginning to understand and know herself.
Here the problem comes in! some parents start giving curfews and laying embagos in the house, but we all know that if a lot of pressure is mounted they can become naughty. There is always a way of making up excuses in order to leave the house, so please parents and guardians we have to be careful in how we handle our young women/teens at this stage. you have to help us/them understand that you love us and that whatever you do is because you care so much and can't afford to see us get hurt.
Young women are supposed to be encouraged to concentrate on their education or whichever career she has chosen. They are supposed to be thought how to manage their career and social lives. The parents/guardians should be able to discuss intimate things such as dating, sex, diseases, pregnancies, career, etc. with them at this stage inorder to help walk the right path.
In some part of Africa, Teenage pregnancy is high because of lack of information. Some young women get carried away and fall victim of teen-pregnancy. Some have to leave school and resort to taking care of their baby, some are sent away from home and taking to far away villages because their parents/guardians are disappointed.
Thank God these days awareness programmes, seminars and conferences are organised to enable young people have detailed information on all there is to know while growing. Growing process of a Young woman is not really easy but most of them over come the temptations and become great in life.

She was the first person Nelson Mandela requested to see immediately after his release. she is recently active in the HIV/AIDS issues. Isn't she great?

President Ellen SirLeaf Johnson: The Current president of Liberia and the first elected black woman head of state in the world. She won the election with votes of almost 20% margin. she has occupied different governmental and top positions including Director of the UN Development Programme Regional Bureau for Africa. Finally Over!!

The most important parts of the Elections are finally over!!
A lot of things has happened these past two weeks! Some people are complaining that the election was not free and fair, some say the rigging is beyond imagination, some say its a bit okay, some are happy, some are sad, i will say Thank God there was no much violence, atleast not so much live was lost compared to the time of MKO Abiola (may his soul rest in perfect peace).
The truth is that we cannot keep crying over spilled milk, most of us are upset with the way the vote went because our candidates did not win, INEC would not even make things easy, lots of flunctuations and irregularities but the truth is that results are out and whether the result tilts in our favour or not winners has been announced, and would likely be sworn in by May 2007.
All we need do now is to Pray that God direct thier parts, grant them conscience and lead them into ruling this Country called Nigeria well. They have promised a lot of things these past months, i hope they work towards it. it is easy for them to come and say they will give us; light, food, good roads, housing, hospitals etc. I think the time has come for them to start actualising their plans and prove themselves, Yes! even before they are sworn in.
We pray and hope that things work out well in this country, so many things are yet to be done. i can't wait for the day this Country will be transformed. I hope it comes soon and very soon.
In whatever you do today just be Happy and Keep praying for the good of this country!!!
Cheers!!!!

One Love!!!

Hi People!!!

How are you all doing? How was the election break/weekend? Hope you did enjoy it?

It was sure a mixed feelings break because of the election, some people were happy the vote result tilted their way while some aren't. Some feel the election was rigged while some feel it was free and fair to some extent. Some are cursing right now and wishing while some are praising and happy. Whatever and however we all feel this week, just let your love for each other remain the same, the ultimate is that we are hale and hearty today.

We should all pray that all declared candidates for each position should have enough conscience to do what they have promised and that God guide them and direct them into remembering that we are one and should be treated with one Love!

As we prepare for the presidential election, we should all remember to abstain from any form of violence whether consciously or unconsciously while still praying that God remembers this country and come to our aid via our leaders by changing their hearts into good.

I strongly believe that not all are corrupt, they probably have good intentions but somehow can't or don't seem to get things done the right way, so, thats why i say we should keep praying that God come to our aid to deliver and save this country from all the problems its being going through!!

I know most of us will be busy right now so do have a wonderful day and be happy!!!

ONE LOVE!!!

My right, Your right, Our Right!

How was the Easter Break! it was really long but fun. I hope we all spent it well! it was fun seeing families together in eateries, beaches, cinemas etc. It was great realising once again that Our Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, died for us and resurrected to free us all from all tribulations of life! so tell me why we shouldn't be happy. He loves you, he loves me, he loves us all. So, no matter what you are going through just know that God loves us!

We also thank God for making us see another week. Not forgetting that election is around the corner, about 3-days to go. its time to make use of my right, your right, Our right! The right to vote. Make sure you vote the person you want so you don't have to complain later.

Do not sell your vote because you will be selling your right! Though sometimes one loses the zeal to vote because it looks as if your vote does not count, i have to encourage you all to go out there to vote. Vote wisely and don't sell your right! because though it may not count but it does count.

Be Happy!

Baby Grows

The dad promised to do everything possible to make her great! What does he mean by Great? Great in the sense that she would have evrything she wants and would need to become a good woman in life and those things include: - Food, Clothing, Shelter, love, understanding, care, good education ie. both formal and informal, discipline, decency, and everyother thing that is required for her to be come great.

She suddenly begins to grow little by little, from toddler to teenage, then the problem starts as she approaches teenage because all of a sudden she is beginning to realise that she is no longer a baby but a young woman, she wants to make decisions for herself by herself, she wants to go out more, she wants to see more of things, she wants to know more than she already knows so there is a little bit of misunderstanding between both parents and the young woman.

All she need at this stage is more love, more attention and not yelling or abuses. she needs to be told all the truth and facts of life and she needs her parents support because this stage determines the greatness her father wished for her. Their attitude could affect this greatness either postively or negatively!

Why are young girls somehow dificult to manage.

Why are they suddenly jumpy and in a hurry to get out there!!!!!!

We will talk about this next week!

Am i forgetting someting?

Yes i remember now? Easter Celebration!

Most of us would be on holiday from tomorrow friday till monday next week? Another long one isn't it, well, do make the most out of it because its time to celebrate! Our Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins and remember before he gave up the ghost he said "It is Finished" meaning all our troubles, sorrows, pains, the deppression, illness, captivity, barrenness, everything negative in our lives are finished and he resurrected on the 3rd day to prove that. so i don't know what you might be doing right now or what may be wrong with you, no matter how bad the situation is, just know that "God Loves You". All you need do is have faith and smile up at him and say "Thank You" thats all and he will definitely grant your heart desire!

As we go for this break i pray that God guide us through thick and thin and in all our plans for the Easter and we will all come back happy. (Amen).

Do have a wonderful Easter celebration. Love you all and thanks for visiting my blog!

"BE HAPPY"
